The Horses "Mudabbas" and "Asfan Al-Khalidiya" Win King Abdulaziz Cups
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Governor of Riyadh, awarded the sons of Mohammed bin Hadi bin Khuyut the King Abdulaziz Cup (Category 1) following the victory of their horse, Mudabbas. He also presented the King Abdulaziz Cup for Arabian Horses to the sons of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz after the triumph of their horse, Asfan Al-Khalidiya.
The awards were part of the 104th ceremony organized by the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia today, as part of the Riyadh Racing Season 2023, held at King Abdulaziz Racetrack in Janadriyah.
The Persians, Thaba Al-Khalidiyah II, for the sons of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, achieved the Horse Racing Club Cup for Al-Jazirah horses (Saudi origin and origin), and the award was handed over to the winner, Mr. Salem bin Mahfouz, Director General of Racing.
While Al-Jawad Kasir, for the owner Ahmed Hassan Abdullah Al-Saif, won the Horse Racing Club Challenge Cup, and the award was handed over to the winner, Mr. Salem bin Mahfouz, Director General of Racing.
The ceremony included eleven rounds of various grades and classifications for different ages and groups.
The results of the horses and mares that won the first positions in the eleven rounds were as follows:
The first half, at a distance of 2100 m, was won by the mare, Najd, owned by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and trained by Mutib Al-Malouh, led by Alexis Moreno.
The second half, at a distance of 2100m, was won by Al-Jawad
Gorkali Warrior, by Malik Rashid Sanad Mikhlif Daban, and training by Rashid Daban, led by Al-Khayal Iyad Al-Turaisi.
The third round (sponsored by Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital) at a distance of 1200m, won by Anoud Al-Ghadha, owned by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khaled bin Abdulaziz, and trained by Hussein Al-Shuwaib, led by Khayal Khaled Al-Maimouni.
The fourth round (sponsored by Al-Rajhi Bank) at a distance of 1200 m, was won by Al-Jawad Jamran, for His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Saif Al-Din bin Saud, and the training of Muhammad K. Al-Harabi, led by Al-Khayal Turki Al-Awfi.
The fifth round (sponsored by the Sports Track) at a distance of 1400 m, was won by the horse Mahrut, for His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khaled bin Abdulaziz, and the training of Hussein Al-Shuwaib, led by Al-Khayal Abdullah Al-Awfi.
The sixth round (sponsored by a boutique group) at a distance of 1600 m, won by the mare in Souk, owned by Fouad Muhammad Fahd Bin Ghashyan, and trained by Khaled Fahd Razeeq, led by Al-Khayal Adel Al-Faridi.
The seventh round (sponsored by the Executive) at a distance of 2400m, won by the horse Skip, owned by His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Khalid bin Faisal Al Saud
And Abdullah Shabib training, led by the imagination Abdullah Al-Awfi.
The eighth round, at a distance of 1400 m, was won by Al-Jawad Kasir, owned by Ahmed Hassan Abdullah Al-Saif, and trained by Nasser Fawaz, led by Camilo Ospina.
The ninth round, at a distance of 1600 m, was won by the mare, Thaba Al-Khalidiya II, for the sons of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and the training of Saad Mutlaq, led by the imagination, Eddie Castro.
The tenth game, at a distance of 1600 m, was won by Al-Jawad
Asfan Al-Khalidiya, for the children of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and Saad Mutlaq training, led by the imagination Abdullah Al-Awfi.
The eleventh round, at a distance of 1600 m, was won by Al-Jawad Madbas, belonging to the sons of Muhammad bin Hadi bin Khayyat, and Saad Khayyat’s training, led by the imagination, Aseel Al-Sarhani.
