1st Saudi Animal Rescue and Trauma Care (SARTA) event
The Saudi Equestrian Authority (SEA) proudly hosted the 1st inaugural Saudi Animal Rescue and Trauma Care (SARTA) event, a groundbreaking initiative in the Gulf region.
Delivered by the world renowned experts in the field (BARTA UK), the course is designed to raise awareness and enhance preparedness for equine emergencies. This event marks a pivotal step in creating a safer, more secure environment for equestrian activities, in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
The three-day event attracted over 120 attendees, including first aid responders from ambulance services, police, firefighters, and events staff, as well as veterinarians, horse riders, trainers, and equine enthusiasts.
This diverse group shared their knowledge and passion, united by a common goal: improving equine health and welfare.
SARTA marks the beginning of a series of events across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, fostering collaboration within the equestrian community. Please keep an eye out for future dates, as advertised on our SEA website.
