The Equestrian Authority signed a cooperation memorandum with the Royal Commission for AlUla, aimed to develop the equestrian sector in AlUla and providing a clear and sustainable regulatory framework that supports national objectives related to the sector.

This memorandum contributes to enabling the Royal Commission for AlUla to be an effective model in equestrian innovation, by setting and applying quality standards, establishing an effective licensing system for equestrian activities, and providing business opportunities and creating new career jobs through connecting equestrian activities with local and international partners.

The Secretary-General of the Equestrian Authority, Eng. Abdullah Al-Asiri, affirmed the Authority’s commitment to supporting the equestrian sector through the implementation of ambitious projects. He emphasized the importance of empowering capabilities in AlUla as one of the world's leading tourist destinations.

This agreement comes as part of the Authority’s efforts to develop the sector’s infrastructure and enhance competitive excellence through strategic partnerships that contribute to sustainability and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a leading destination for equestrian activities and events.

This agreement represents a key step towards activating integration between entities, opening broader horizons for the development of the equestrian sector in AlUla Province, also contributes to enhancing the presence of the Equestrian Authority in various future activities and initiatives.
