Crown Prince Crowns the Winners of the Saudi Cup Horse Racing

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended the Saudi Cup horse race ceremony this evening at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Riyadh.**

Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Equestrian Authority and Chairman of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, along with His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Board Member of the Jockey Club and Chairman of the Technical Committees.

Accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince were His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh; His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports; and His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard.

The royal anthem was played before the start of the race.

The participating horses then moved from the saddling area to the parade ring, completing two rounds before the race began. All jockeys participating in the race were present in the parade ring.

Subsequently, the eighth race for the Saudi Cup commenced.

Following the conclusion of the race, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman proceeded to the presentation stage.

His Royal Highness congratulated Hiro Race Company Limited, the owner of the horse Panthalassa, which emerged as the winner of the Saudi Cup. He presented the Saudi Cup to the owner.

His Royal Highness also congratulated the horse's trainer, Yoshito Yahagi, and jockey, Yutaka Yoshida, who received a horse statue and a jockey's helmet as awards.

Also in attendance from the Kingdom of Bahrain was His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Authority of Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, along with dignitaries, prominent guests from within and outside the Kingdom, and a number of horse owners participating in the event.
